6-Day Rwanda Gorilla Trekking & Serengeti Safari Tour
This 6-day safari starts with a half-day tour of Kigali city, visiting the Inema Art Center and Kigali Genocide Memorial. Then you drive to Volcanoes National Park for gorilla trekking and a visit to the Gorilla Guardians Village.
Next, fly to Arusha, Tanzania, and stay overnight. The following day, travel to Serengeti National Park for game drives, spotting animals like lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and more.
You may see the wildebeest migration and visit a Maasai community. On the last day, after breakfast, leave Serengeti and drive to Arusha Airport for your flight home.

Detailed 6-Day Rwanda Gorillas & Serengeti Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park
After a half-day tour of Kigali city visiting places like Inema Art Center and the Kigali Genocide Memorial, you will have lunch. Then you will drive north to Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda’s top destination.
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park – Gorilla trekking
Gorilla trekking starts early in the morning. You will meet at the park offices for a briefing. Then, with your ranger guide and other visitors, you will enter the forest to find the gentle mountain gorillas.
This is an experience you will never forget. After the trek, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village for a cultural visit.
Day 3: Flight to Arusha – Tanzania
In the morning, transfer back to Kigali for your flight to Tanzania. Your safari guide will meet you at the airport and take you to a hotel in Arusha town for the night.
Day 4: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, leave your hotel early and drive to Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania. On arrival, enjoy a short game drive as you head to your safari lodge. Have lunch and later go for a late evening game drive.
Day 5: Full day game drive – Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day game driving in Serengeti National Park. Look for animals like wildebeests, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, rhinos, leopards, jackals, hyenas, elephants, elands, impalas, gazelles, olive baboons, monkeys, and more.
You may also see the great wildebeest migration. Later, visit a Maasai community for a guided cultural tour.
Day 6: Departure – End of safari
After breakfast, leave the park and drive to Arusha Airport for your flight home.
