1-Day Mount Bisoke Hiking Tour in Volcanoes National Park

Mount Bisoke is one of eight volcanoes in the Virunga chain across Rwanda, Uganda, and Congo. It stands 3,711 meters tall and can be hiked by beginners with some fitness.

Day 1: Mount Bisoke Hike – Volcanoes National Park
Your tour driver will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Kigali. He will drive you northwest to Volcanoes National Park for your one-day hike on Mount Bisoke.
The hike will take about six hours for both going up and coming down.
After a briefing at the Kinigi park offices, you will drive to the starting point of your hike. A park guide will lead you as you climb to the summit of Mount Bisoke.
Enjoy the beautiful views as you go higher on the mountain. You may see some birds and, if lucky, some wild animals that live on the lower slopes.
When you reach the top, enjoy the great views of Volcanoes National Park and the crater lake at the summit.
